Monday After the Masters Postponed until  Sept, Due to Covid-19.

The ‘Monday After the Masters’ Celebrity Pro-Am Charity Golf Tournament and benefit concert was canceled in 2020 at the start of the Covid pandemic.  Hootie and the Blowfish have announced on their FB Page, that as of right now, the event will take place this year, but has been postponed to a later date.  It was originally scheduled to take place on April 10-12, 2021.  Due to health concerns, they have moved the event date to be held Sept 13, 2021.  Sponsors and VIP Guest Appearances are still in the planning stages.

“After careful consideration, the band, the board and tournament organizers have decided that the chances of the pandemic being well enough controlled by April is slim enough to warrant a postponement of the event,” the event organizers wrote on Twitter. “As always, we appreciate your support and look forward to the world returning to the old normal.”

Monday After the Masters is an annual celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament hosted by Hootie and the Blowfish and takes place at the Barefoot Resort and Golf – Dye Course located in Myrtle Beach, SC each Monday following the Masters Golf Tournament.   Although the Masters Golf Tournament to be held in Augusta, GA is still scheduled for April 2021 with limited attendance, the Monday After The Masters has been postponed.
