WHAT ARE THE BEST DEALS IN MYRTLE BEACH?

As Golf Directors in Myrtle Beach, one of the questions we are most frequently asked is, “What’s the best deal you got?” Well, thanks to the economy there isn’t just one and answering that question can take longer than most people would like to stay on the phone, not to mention leaving you more confused then ever. With 100 course options and countless accommodations choices, the key to answering that question is not to ask “What’s the best deal you got?” but “What’s the best deal for my group?”

So, with that in mind we’ve laid out several of our favorite “best deals” and who should take advantage of them.

The Legends Special (01/21/2010 – 05/23/2010)
Who it’s for... Highly skilled golfers, that like above average courses at a below average price. And it works well for guys that want breakfast and lunch included in their package.
The Legends courses (Heathland, Moorland, Parkland, Heritage and Oyster Bay) have come out with a special that includes breakfast, lunch and 2 beers at each course. You have to book 5 courses to qualify for the breakfast, lunch and beer. At least one of the tee times must be in the afternoon.
Best accommodations... River Oaks Villas or Myrtlewood Villas.

The Challenge Select Special (12/15/2009 – 09/08/2010)
Who it’s for... Mid-level golfers, that like above average courses at a below average price. It’s good for guys that want a variety of courses as well.
The Challenge Select courses (Witch, Wizard, Man O’ War, Prestwick, Arrowhead and Wild Wing - Avocet) have given us a great deal if you book 4 or more of the aforementioned courses. These course rates are significantly less than normal and are even cheaper if played on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or in the afternoon.

The Glens Group Special (01/01/2010 – 05/31/2010)
Who it’s for... Mid-level golfers that like above average courses. This works well for guys that want 2 rounds in one day.
The Glens courses (Glen Dornoch, Possum Trot, Heather Glen and Shaftsbury Glen) are offering free pre-booked replays if you book at least 3 courses. The replays are at the same course played that morning and must be played after 1:30.
Best accommodations... Tilghman Resort or Brunswick Plantation Villas

Myrtle Beach National Special (02/11/2010 – 05/09/2010)
Who it’s for... Golfers of all skill levels that don’t mind playing early in the morning. There is a pretty good range of prices for these courses, so there is something for everybody.
The Myrtle Beach National courses (Kings North, MBN West, MBN SouthCreek, Willbrook, River Club, Wachesaw East, Litchfield, Blackmoor, Waterway Hills, Aberdeen and Long Bay) have slashed their rates by 50%. Tee times must be booked before 8:15am and must be booked by 01/31/2010.

Barefoot Resort Special (01/01/2010 – 05/23/2010) Who it’s for... Mid to highly skilled golfers that don’t mind a more expensive golf package. The Barefoot courses (Love, Fazio, Norman and Dye Club) are offering a free round when you buy 3. One round must be played in the afternoon and you must book prior to 03/01/2010 to qualify.
Best accommodations... Barefoot Golf Villas or Barefoot Yacht Club Villas
