There are too many quality restaurants along the North Strand to accurately rank the best, but below are five establishments you will enjoy.
Crab Catchers - Located in the Little River waterfront area, Crab Catchers is a local favorite. Long on charm (and stunning views of the Intracoastal), Crab Catchers only serves fresh local seafood and it thrives despite not spending a penny on advertising. The daily fish fry is a don't-miss at Crab Catchers.
Captain Nance's - One of the first generation of Calabash style seafood restaurants, Captain Nance's is worth the trip. If you want Calabash seafood, drive to the source. You also can't go wrong eating at Coleman's Original or Dockside, both located within yards of Captain Nance's.
Parson's Table - Housed in what used to be Little River Methodist Church, Parson's Table is one of the area's best restaurants. The food, with an emphasis on steaks and seafood, is matched only by the charm of a building constructed in 1885 that still shows some of the original pine flooring.
Oscar's - Nearly every golf vacation features a trip to a sports bar and Oscar's comes highly recommended. Cold beer, great burgers and great wings is a tough combination to beat. If you are a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Oscar's, located in North Myrtle, is really the place for you. As for you Browns fans ...
Cagney's - One of the area's most popular steakhouses, Cagney's opened in 1976 and claims to have served "three million happy customers." If past is precedent, you won't be disappointed with the steak or prime rib at Cagney's.
