  • Hole #10 - Tom Perry

The 10th hole at Leopards Chase, Ocean Ridge’s newest course is a “Slicers Paradise”. A dog leg right that only measures 345 yards from the white tees. Just because it’s a short par 4 does not mean it’s easy. The entire right side of the hole is waste area with very soft sand and nasty brush scattered everywhere. The left side has 2 large fairway bunkers to avoid. The ideal tee shot is to hit it about 220 yards just right of the 2nd fairway bunker. This leaves you a short iron into an elevated green. There is a bunker on the left side of the green that comes into play. The green is large with not much undulation. This hole has a lot of reward if you can move the ball from left to right (Not too much !!) and is my favorite hole at Leopards Chase.

  • Hole #15 - Steven Paul

The fifteenth at Leopard’s Chase is a great par 4. It is 435 yards from the tips and requires two good shots in order to make par. Off the tee, in the landing area, there are three pretty good sized fairway bunkers. If that’s not enough, just past the two bunkers on the left is a water hazard that you cannot see from the tee. The fairway runs steeply toward the water, so anything left that does not catch one of the bunkers is flirting with disaster.

On the right, aside from the other fairway bunker, lies a waste bunker that runs the entire length of the hole. You do not want to be here. There are trees, brush, pinestraw, etc. all over this area. A definite bogey if you’re over here. The best place to hit your drive is down the right center as this gives you the best angle into the green. There are two greenside bunkers and one of them is not the place to miss. It is 15 feet below and left of the green and left of that is more water. The shot hit from this area is very, very difficult. Assuming you do hit the fairway, you are left with a mid to long iron into the green. It is two-teared, so there is a backstop if the pin is up front. You really want to be on the correct level in order to give yourself a shot at birdie. Make par here, and you’ve done pretty good.
